After 20+ years in journalism, I have ink in my blood, but it's my passion for storytelling that keeps it pumping. Storytelling is the theme that runs through my various career and life roles – editor, writer, actor, journalist, artist. And it’s stories that fuel my passion, regardless of the medium. I’ve built a career on helping others craft their best narratives and messaging and on developing a strong voice and point of view of my own, whether in print, online, on canvas, on stage, or on camera.

Currently, I help equip account teams at a major consulting firm to tell better stories about our services to clients. Choosing to make the leap from journalism to professional services is unusual, I'll grant you. But the skills I honed at one of Texas’ largest regional newspapers serve me well in my new role. (And it's the kind of plot twist that makes for a great story.)
